The LA-1000 is a high performance Ethernet adapter built on 32-bit PCI bus architecture
and proven technology of Gigabit Ethernet. Working 10 times faster than fast NIC,
LA-1000 would deliver what you need on a current wire-speed network.
The LA-1000 is upgraded to Gigabit no longer means expensive re-cabling with fiber optic
cables. Instead of costly fiber optic cables, the LA-1000 use network-grade copper cables.
All you need is installing new Gigabit adapters and switches without changing existing CAT
5e cabling.
The LA-1000 is built with network speed auto-negotiation capability that allows the adapter
automatically negotiated to maximum speed performance. When you connect the PCI Giga
Ethernet Adapter to Gigabit Switch or another Gigabit NIC, the speed will be doubled to
2000Mbps (1000Mbps transmit and 1000Mbps Receive).
